  10. Make sure that water level when you add rice is 1 cm above rice level, if less add boiled water, if more than 1.5 cm remove with spoon. Increase heat.
  11. Boil water off without mixing, when water and oil remains in bottom, reduce heat to minimum.
  12. Cover the pot with a good lid. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, do not open cover during this time
  13. Remove the lid and gently stir the plov. Serve hot with some fresh herbs, such as cilantro or parsley.
